About:

At first glance, my appearance gives you
the impression that I'm a hippie dippy,
calm and collected, and a sunny person;
within me as well as without. Don't be
fooled by the masks I wear. There are
few who I show my true colors to, and
few who actually know the real me. The
mind is a strange place and often times,
I enjoy getting lost in its maze of
madness. Finding my way out and
uncovering new doors is something I
enjoy doing. The way I act or think is
questionable, even to me. It's almost
like there is a child trapped in my
brain trying to break free of the walls
that trap her inside. She is limited to
only certain areas of my mind and only
rarely figures out how to seem through
my skin and make herself known to the
world. There are a select few people
who she chooses to reveal herself to;
however. Actions of love are the only
thing that can liberate me from myself,
from my own self-built prison walls. My
walls crumble in the same way a
mountain crumbles over the years and
gets smaller, but at a faster rate. I
try to surround myself with those who
care, rather than with people who only
want something out of me. Getting off
medications that do more harm than good
and trying to better myself as a person
have helped improve my well-being and
how I behave towards others. "Treat
others how you want to be treated," I
constantly tell myself. Now that I am
off medications that fuck with my
ability to have mental clarity, becoming
a better person has become easier. Only
since this past summer has my way of
thinking changed for the better. Of
course I've got my share of issues but I
am working at it; as should the rest of
the world. I am the Invisible Man in the
Fluorescent suit who quietly observes
observes you from afar. I observe you,
you masked beings of light as you
struggle to find your final
destinations. Clouded by their
selfishness and ignorance, most of
society makes its way through
life as the days turn to night. We live
in a world stuck in the madness of a
roller coaster. Step out of your shell
and breathe in the hope of a new day.
You are only as trapped as you let
yourself be; trapped in a self-created
reality that you struggle to get out of.
Hidden in all of us is a light that
years to break free. Every individual
has their own color which varies in
intensity. It is with this light that we
can strive to grow as individuals and as
a society. The more people are unmasked,
and the more lights that are joined
together as one, the brighter our future
and society will become. The strength of
the combination of lights have the
potential to create a big change in the
world as well as the lives in each
individual person. Remove your make and
break down your self-build prison walls
that only trap your true self and that
hide who you really are. Let your colors
shine through and show the world who you
really are.
